I found this article on PositiveDetroit.com about why the author has chose to stay in Detroit. I wanted to share this with my readers because it is very well writen and allows the reader to really see the geatness that lays below the surface of Detroit and it’s surrounding areas.  It is nice to see the view from someone that has lived in other parts of the country, and can have a true outsiders prespective.   I also think that this article even though the author really is talking about Detroit specifically, many of their points also support why to live and work in Michigan.

He asked me what made me move here, as he often hears more about people leaving the state than moving to the state. While a long-distance relationship originally moved me here, it hasn’t been what’s kept me here. Yes, I’m still in the same relationship, and yes, the relationship is still going strong.”  Read More
