It is official, fall is finally here.  Depending on your outlook it is either good news or bad news.  I can tell you that on Saturday up in East Lansing, it felt like football weather, and the fans were treated to an exquisite game.  Michigan State was the better team for 55 of the 60 minutes, but the University of Michigan had a great 5 minute run.  Then in overtime, Michigan State finally put the pesky Wolverines away.  I came away from the football game on Saturday, completely rejuvenated.  The scenic views from Spartan Stadium over looking the campus to the North looking over the river towards Grand River, and then to the south with the MSC smoke stack, both with the leaves changing.  The state of Michigan was one big family on that day, it was like siblings teasing each other.  It was done in a playful way, but in the end they would still be one State, the State of Michigan.  Then again, I may just be biased since I am an alumnus of Michigan State, and the Spartans saved their season on Saturday.
